Haldi & Welcome Dinner

Haldi Ceremony is a fun and lively pre-wedding event! This Indian traditional ceremony involves family and friends playfully applying a turmeric, oil, and milk paste to the bride and groom—a delightful tradition meant to purify and "beautify". 

 

Mood: snacks, drinks, and a playlist of Bollywood bangers.

 

It's the perfect time to mingle, dance, and share some laughs as we kick off the wedding festivities. A little heads-up: turmeric can be a bit mischievous, so feel free to wear attire you don’t mind getting stained. White and yellow tones are encouraged to match the spirit! (Pro tip: lotion up to avoid skin stains).

 

After the Haldi Ceremony, join us for a Welcome Dinner by the resort's pool, featuring an ice breaker, games, and plenty of drinks. It's the perfect chance to relax, mingle, and get to know each other in a beautiful tropical setting. 

 

Mood: live band, games, drinks, dinner and dance.

 

We kindly request our guests to dress in floral attire, keeping it comfortable and casual. Slippers, shorts, linens, dresses, polo shirts—whatever you wish! We just want to take photos like we dressed up for the bees because we are ready to pollinate. We look forward to an evening of good food, great company, and fantastic memories!
